A wonderful image of Staphylinus Fulvi or Rove Beetle. The rove beetles are a large family (Staphylinidae) of beetles and are an ancient group, with fossil rove beetles known from the Triassic, 200 million years ago. This group also includes the Devils Coach Horse Beetle (Staphylinus olens).
