Beautiful illustration from an early and extremely rare edition of Cinderella by the wonderful British illustrator Arthur Rackham. A work almost entirely in silhouette form and one of Rackham's best.

Beautiful image of a row of lords and ladies, dressed in crinoline skirts, wigs, frock coats and buckled shoes, dancing at the ball - from Cinderella - fantastic detail to the silhouette outline, and so much character to each figure - a lovely period illustration. One of a pair - see other print.
NB The dark areas have a slightly faded look due to the printing process
