| Antique print - Oscar Wilde with Lily 1943 Max Beerbohm A reproduction of a wonderful caricature by the celebrated wit and caricaturist, Sir Max Beerbohm (1872-1956). Hovering on the edge of the Oxford aesthetes and the Cafe Royale circles, his friends included Will Rothenstein, Oscar Wilde and Lord Alfred Douglas. Specialising in literary caricatures, he made his mark on the 1890s as much as Phil May or Aubrey Beardsley.The name of Dante Gabriel Rossetti is heard for the first time in the United States of America.
