Exceptionally beautiful print and some of Arthur Rackham's best work. Shakespeare's magical tale of love and fairies can have no better illustrator. From a rare edition of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

"One aloof stand sentinel" while Titania sleeps - with hunting spear and hair flying, bees and dragonflies fluttering around her head. The overhanging bank shelters a couple of mice perched on a tree root, among the wild flowers, which look like spurge and aquilegia - really wonderful detail to this beautiful image.
