An absolutely lovely image of the second of the Three Little Pigs, snug in his home made of sticks. He's sitting contentedly at his desk writing letters, while the big bad wolf peeks his head round the tree trunk... By the wonderful Frank Adams. As always with Adams, the joy is in the extra little touches like the little trolley full of acorns and a turnip sitting on a plate on top of a jar - ready for supper..

"By and by the Wolf came along and say the house and smelt the Pig. Then he knocked at the door and said, "Little pig, little pig, let me come in!"
But the pig peeped through the keyhole and saw the Wolf's ears so he replied, "No, no! Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin!"

Very Good - Some Marking There is some slight surface marking, and a couple of small, faint surface wrinkles. There is also some slight marking made by fingering and slight spotting due to age - much of this is barely visible because of the colouring of the print. Also, there is a small tape repair to the very top on the reverse of the print which does not show through at all. Despite these faults this is still a lovely image. Please be aware of this before bidding This does not detract from the beauty of the print. A Note on condition: Minor imperfections are to be expected from antique prints due to their age and in many cases this does not affect the appearance of the print. Any blemishes that are noteworthy are described and shown in the picture where possible. Colours will vary slightly depending on your monitor Also Please Note: The watermark in the bottom right hand corner of the image does not appear on the print itself.
