Antique print - Lovely Little Girl, Garden Fairies & Mushroom Umbrellas 1923
A beautiful, high quality, illustration from an extremely rare vintage British Children's book

A wonderful image of a little girl watering the garden flowers - fairies and pixies are running for cover, holding mushrooms over their heads for umbrellas. Beautiful colouring, with deep yellow / orange hollyhocks and purple foxgloves. The fairies are dainty in their long flowing gowns, one deep pink, one blue and one brown, one holding a gorgeous orange mushroom. A lovely quality rare image. It is quite hard to make out the signature (left hand corner) but could be Ivy Topham

This print would be lovely for a child's nursery

Very Good - Slight Marking
There is some slight dinting caused by fingering of the print, and a couple of faint surface crinkles which are barely noticeable and can only really be seen if held to the light (one just to the side of the watering can - just visible on the scan). There is some brown spotting on the reverse which does not affect the image at all This is hardly noticeable and does not detract from the beauty of the print.

A Note on condition:
Minor imperfections are to be expected from antique prints due to their age and in many cases this does not affect the appearance of the print. Any blemishes that are noteworthy are described and shown in the picture where possible.
