| Antique print - Beautiful Art Nouveau Winged Fairy Playing Pipes 1893A lovely image from a rare British Victorian JournalA really lovely image of an Art Nouveau winged fairy perched on a staff (possibly a wand), tied with ribbon at one end. He is playing double pipes and has some kind of heart-shaped cushion or bellows under his arm. Perhaps this is a derivative of the Ancient Greek Aulos. An unusual period illustration. Mounted on a stunning jet black mount with a slight sheen. This print would be lovely for a child's nursery |
