Lovely illustration from the Children's classic by the most well-known of the Alice illustrators, John Tenniel.

A beautiful little image of the Dodo presenting Alice with a thimble for 'winning' the caucus race. The duck, chicks and the rest of the animals who fell into the pool of tears are in the background.

There is a small brown spot to the dodo's bill (see scan) This is hardly noticeable and does not detract from the beauty of the print.
