Beautiful illustration from a scarce edition of Lewis Carroll's timeless classic by the British illustrator Gwynedd Hudson. The illustrations to this edition are exceptional and earn Hudson a place amongst the best of the Alice illustrators.

Here the duchess in a splendid green robe and bejewelled headdress holds the baby who is showing distinct signs of turning into a pig already. Pots and pans are flying and the Cheshire Cat doesn't look too pleased - a wonderful image with beautiful colouring and detail

Very Good - Slight Marking
There is some slight dinting caused by fingering of the print which, because of the colouring is only really visible if held up at an angle to the light. This is hardly noticeable and does not detract from the beauty of the print.
