Beautiful illustration from an early edition of Arthur Rackham's (1867 – 1939) masterpiece, "Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens". Rackham is one of the best known and loved British illustrators of the Golden Age of Book illustration.

A really beautiful image of two fairies, showing their backs to the sparrows, in a huff - exquisite detail to their dresses and wings - and exceptionally beautiful image and one of the loveliest of Rackham's fairy prints. The fairies really are exquisite!.

Please NoteAlthough this lovely print only has slight marking caused by fingering which is only really visible if held up at an angle to the light, the plate itself has been torn and part of the original border of the image is missing. It has been mounted so that there is no evidence of this from the front, and the image is not affected in any way. The price has been reduced to reflect this.. Please be aware of this before buying
