A lovely print showing a procession of forest folk leaving the wood to find a new home… The bee and wasp carry and wheel their caterpillars in a pram, the rabbits push their wailing babies in a wooden cart, the mouse wheels bundles of clothes and the stoat heads the parade with her gamboling wee ones. Others include mole, hedgehog, frogs, ladybirds and a vole carrying golf clubs… all are being pelted by the squirrels as they leave. A wonderfully imaginative image by M. Dorothy Hardy
