Beautiful illustration from an early edition of Arthur Rackham's (1867 – 1939) masterpiece, "Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens". Rackham is one of the best known and loved British illustrators of the Golden Age of Book illustration.

A really lovely image of one of the 'fairy folk', a wee pixie, peering out from behind a tulip, wearing a feather in his hair, beautiful beads around his neck and long pointed stripy socks, with a missing shoe! A really wonderful image.

Very Good - Slight Marking
There is a small white mark to the edge of the bottom edge border where the surface of the print has been scratched - this doesn't actually show on the scan. There is a small, very slight dint to the left hand side and some slight marking caused by fingering which is only really visible if held up at an angle to the light. This is hardly noticeable and does not detract from the beauty of the print.

Minor imperfections are to be expected from antique prints due to their age and in many cases this does not affect the appearance of the print. Any blemishes that are noteworthy are described and shown in the picture where possible.
