| Arthur Rackham Beautiful illustration from an early edition of Arthur Rackham's (1867 – 1939) masterpiece, "Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens". Rackham is one of the best known and loved British illustrators of the Golden Age of Book illustration.A really lovely image of one of the 'fairy folk', a wee pixie, peering out from behind a tulip, wearing a feather in his hair, beautiful beads around his neck and long pointed stripy socks, with a missing shoe! A really wonderful image. "When he heard Peter's voice he popped in alarm from behind a tulip" This print would be lovely for a child's nursery |
