Rackham is one of the best known and loved British illustrators of the Golden Age of Book illustration.A wonderful image of a fairy in a beautifully decorated gown, underneath a Hawthorne sprig - "The fairies don't say 'we're happy', they say 'we feel dancey' "- and here is one of them, looking very undancey indeed.
