Beautiful illustration from Lewis Carroll's timeless classic by the famous British illustrator Arthur Rackham. Alice in Wonderland must be one of Rackham's best works and he is among the best of the Alice illustrators.

This is a wonderful image of Alice and the animals swimming in the pool of tears. Alice swims beside, amongst others, the mouse, the duck, dodo and crab - beautiful colouring

Very Good - Slight Marking
There is some very slight marking caused by fingering of the print, some very slight spotting due to age, and some slight buckling to the very top and right hand edge, which isn't too visible at all because it is mainly underneath the mount This is hardly noticeable and does not detract from the beauty of the print.

Minor imperfections are to be expected from antique prints due to their age and in many cases this does not affect the appearance of the print. Any blemishes that are noteworthy are described and shown in the picture where possible.
