A beautiful image Perseus & Andromeda by Victorian painter, Arthur T Nowell (1862-1940). Exhibited for the Royal Academy in 1899.
Perseus, the legendary founder of Mycenae and of the Perseid dynasty there, was the first of the mythic heroes of Greek mythology whose exploits in defeating various archaic monsters provided the founding myths of the Twelve Olympians. Perseus was the Greek hero who killed the Gorgon Medusa, and claimed Andromeda, having rescued her from a sea monster sent by Poseidon in retribution for Queen Cassiopeia declaring herself more beautiful than the sea nymphs (Wikipedia).

Very Good - Some Marking
There is quite a bit of marking caused by fingering and a couple of faint bends across the surface of the print which, because of the colouring, are not too noticeable unless held up to the light. Please be aware of this before buying. This does not detract from the beauty of the print.

Minor imperfections are to be expected from antique prints due to their age and in many cases this does not affect the appearance of the print. Any blemishes that are noteworthy are described and shown in the picture where possible.
