A lovely pale mauve and muted green tinted line illustration to illustrate the 'Stories of the Table Round' or King Arthur and His Knights by A Lincoln. "This Knight he served as he had done the other" - beautiful detail - a lovely image. These illustrations appear to have pre-dated Rackham's illustrations to Malory's King Arthur as they are dated 1902 and are from a rare children's annual. I haven't been able to discover anything else about them so they may be of interest to collectors. Mounted on a stunning jet black mount with a slight sheen. We specialise in decorative antique and vintage prints. Many of our prints are one-offs which you may never see again. All are of limited availability and second copies are often quite hard to find. Mounts are hand cut to suit each print and the result is unique; ready to decorate your home, or ideal to give as a gift.
| Very Good Please Note: the paper that this lovely image is printed on is quite thin. To make sure it stays at its best and doesn't pick up moisture from the atmosphere, just keep it in the plastic wrapper until you are ready to put it in its frame. A Note on condition: Minor imperfections are to be expected from antique prints due to their age and in many cases this does not affect the appearance of the print. Any blemishes that are noteworthy are described and shown in the picture where possible. Colours will vary slightly depending on your monitor Also Please Note: The watermark in the bottom right hand corner of the image does not appear on the print itself.
