This beautiful illustration shows the lost boys under a tree, surrounded by pixies and fairies. ' They are children who fall out of perambulators'. As usual, the delight of Atwell is in the detail - a couple of fairies are offering a bowl of food to the babies, one is brushing a baby's hair - some of the pixies are playing with the babies' dummies, while a few wee fairies sit on top of mushrooms watching - lovely.

Very Good - Some Marking There is some slight marking caused by fingering and some slight spotting to the print which can only really be seen if held to the light. Please note: On the Reverse Side there is some childish writing to the very top which does not overlap with the actual image, and some faint staining which can be seen if held to the light - again this does not affect the image at all This does not detract from the beauty of the print. A Note on condition: Minor imperfections are to be expected from antique prints due to their age and in many cases this does not affect the appearance of the print. Any blemishes that are noteworthy are described and shown in the picture where possible. Colours will vary slightly depending on your monitor Also Please Note: The watermark in the bottom right hand corner of the image does not appear on the print itself.
