An wonderful illustration by Harry Rountree, set in a courtroom - the judge is a bulldog in robe and wig, the defendant is a wee duckling, and a decidedly dodgy customer stands in the witness box, smoking a pipe. The prosecution council is having a go at the defence, teeth bared! Lots of other animals include a pig, bear, cow, dog, guinea pig.
