Beautiful illustration from an early and rare edition of Lewis Carroll's timeless classic, illustrated by A L Bowley. This has to be one of the cutest of all of the interpretations of Alice.

A gorgeous image of the cutest White Rabbit reading out the charges to the Court. The poor Knave of Hearts is accused of stealing the tarts and the King and Queen (who looks exceedingly grumpy!) are sitting in judgement. Typically cute image with beautiful colouring by the wonderful A L Bowley - a really lovely period illustration

There is some slight marking caused by fingering of the print and some slight surface marking which, because of the colouring isn't noticeable unless held to the light This is hardly noticeable and does not detract from the beauty of the print.
