Beautiful illustration from an early and very rare edition of Lewis Carroll's timeless classic by the famous British illustrator Mabel Lucie Attwell. The illustrations to this edition are really lovely and must earn Attwell a place amongst the best of the Alice illustrators. Beautiful colouring and high quality printing.

A wonderfully cute image of the Mad Hatter, in his top hat, the March Hare and Alice seated around the table at the Tea Party - the Dormouse is peeking out from behind the Mad Hatter - a lovely period illustration.

This print would be lovely for a child's nursery

Please Note: There is very faint shadowing from the text/pictures on the reverse of the print. The paper is the thick porous kind which was popular during this period and has a slightly faded look This is hardly noticeable and does not detract from the beauty of the print.
