Beautiful illustration from an early and very rare edition of Lewis Carroll's timeless classic by the famous British illustrator Mabel Lucie Attwell. The illustrations to this edition are really lovely and must earn Attwell a place amongst the best of the Alice illustrators.

A wonderful image of the mouse that Alice meets in the Pool of Tears - he has beautifully long whiskers and carries his tail over his arm - A lovely period illustration.
