Beautiful illustration from Lewis Carroll's timeless classic by the famous British illustrator Arthur Rackham. Alice in Wonderland must be one of Rackham's best works and he is among the best of the Alice illustrators.

This is one of the most well known images of Alice - at the Mad Hatter's Tea Party. Here she sits at the head of the table while the dormouse dozes between the Mad Hatter and the March Hare - a wonderful image.

Very Good - Some Marking
There is some buckling (rippling) to the top edge and running down the center of the print. Although this has been caused by slightly dampness to the paper in the past, the effects are only slight and, because of the colouring of the print, are really only noticeable if held up to the light. The buckling shows up slightly more on the top cream border, but once framed this would be barely noticeable.. Please be aware of this before buying. Despite these faults this is still a lovely image This does not detract from the beauty of the print.

Minor imperfections are to be expected from antique prints due to their age and in many cases this does not affect the appearance of the print. Any blemishes that are noteworthy are described and shown in the picture where possible.
