Lovely illustration from the Children's classic by the much loved, Margaret Tarrant, a prolific English illustrator and friend of Cicely Mary Barker. She was popular during the 1920’s and 1930’s for her romantic depiction of children, fairies and animals.

Beautiful image of the King and Queen of Hears presiding over the court - hoping to decide who stole the tarts. The White Rabbit is present in his fancy waistcoat decorated with red hearts - a lovely image

Very Good - Slight Marking
There is some very slight marking caused by fingering which is only really visible if held up at an angle to the light. This is hardly noticeable and does not detract from the beauty of the print.
